A cheque for £291.01 has been presented to Wiltshire Air Ambulance after three boys completed a 40 mile sponsored cycle ride.
Will Cooper,17, along with twin brothers Alex and Curtis Bailey, 15, took three hours to cycle from their homes in Easterton to Pewsey and back.
The boys decided to do the ride together after Will had to cancel a 162 mile bike ride he was planning to do on his own for health reasons. Will said “It’s a great cause. It saves lives and gets to hard-to-reach places. I hope this money compensates for the other attempt being cancelled.”
The trio have all raised money for the air ambulance in the past. Last year Will raised £162.10 by walking 25 miles across Salisbury Plain with his parents and together with Alex and Curtis raised just over £254 by cycling across the Plain.
