A successful music gig at the Green Dragon pub in Market Lavington raised £400 for two charities on Saturday.
The proceeds will be divided evenly between the Gazette’s Help for Heroes appeal and the Dorothy House Hospice in Winsley.
The bands included The Sailors, Divine Charity and pupils from Pewsey Vale School, who entertained from a make-shift stage – a borrowed lorry.
Nicky Wragg, who runs the pub with husband Steve, said: “It was absolutely brilliant. Everyone really enjoyed themselves. The sun came out as well and that just topped the day off.”
