An African theme was given to a summer fair held at St Mary’s Infant School, Marlborough.
Young people attending the fair on June 25 were invited to join in the drumming with The Kaya musicians.
The theme was chosen for the event because Africa had been the school’s summer term topic.
The weather was glorious for the evening event which was well supported.
Kaya organised demonstrations and workshops and Lindsay Howard Academy of Dance gave a display in which pupils from several local schools participated.
Among the attractions were a barbecue, stalls, bouncy slide, hook-a-duck, marble mania, face painting and tattoos, a silent auction, children’s raffle and a Pimms bar.
