Members of Chippenham Flower Club took part in the Rotary Club’s very successful Art in the Park.
Members had a floral basket and hands on flower stall and club chairman Dorryta Hawyard met Chippenham mayor Coun Sandra Oakes and Chippenham Rotary president Philip Miles. Other events in which members took part include Mrs Hayward’s mini floral demonstrations at the Whitehall Garden Centre. The July meeting took the form of an outing to the Bristol Botanic Gardens. On August 24, members are organising “hands on flowers” for youngsters and on August 2 at 7.30 pm in Sheldon School hall, there will be a floral demonstration entitled Tutti Frutti by Helen Gibbons from Lymington .
New members are welcome, call Mrs Hayward, on (01249) 653322 or secretary Betty Annett (01249) 814464.
