Westonbirt Arboretum will be welcoming more than 130 sculptors and craftspeople for its annual Festival of the Tree.
Craftspeople will create works of art from 24 tonnes of wood from the Westonbirt estate during the week-long festival from August 23 to 31.
The finished pieces will be auctioned on August 31 in support of Tree Aid, which helps poor communities in Africa to become self reliant.
Crafts, furniture, sculpture and jewellery stalls will be on display at the festival’s Exhibitree woodcrafts weekend from Friday August 27 to Bank Holiday Monday.
Family activities, trails and workshops will take place, in which children will be able to use microscopes to get up close to live bugs and bark in the Laboratree tipi. Entry is free to 18-year-olds and under.
