Somerfield supermarket in Corsham is to reopen as the Co-op tomorrow after a £200,000 makeover.
The Martingate centre store closed last Friday. Its 70 staff will keep their jobs following the Co-op’s takeover of the group.
Store boss Peter Dobbin said: “This substantial investment in the store means we can now provide a much enhanced service.”
There will be a new kiosk selling more deli products and hot food and a new touchscreen home delivery booking facility.
Every Somerfield will be rebranded by next year.
After tomorrow’s normal 7am opening, children from the Mansion House Preschool Nursery will help to cut a ribbon at an official ceremony at 10am.
