Schoolboy Freddie Nelson has helped raise over £3,000 for charity with a 26km hike over the Brecon Beacons.
Freddie, 12, of Butts Lane, West Lavington, walked with Oliver Hoare, a fellow pupil at Chafyn Grove School in Salisbury.
The boys were accompanied by fathers, Alistair Nelson and Nick Hoare and friend Digby Williams and his son, Alexander, 13.
The money will go to Cancer Research UK and BLESMA, the Blind and Limbless Ex-Servicemen’s Association.
The boys chose Cancer Research because Freddie’s grandfather has cancer, Ollie’s grandmother died of cancer and one of their teachers at school has the disease.
Freddie chose Blesma because he wants to join the Army. To contribute, visit www.virginmoneygiving.com/freddie.nelson
