More than 40 handbags will be auctioned off to raise money for the Seagry and Startley recreation ground tomorrow.
The fundraising event will be held at the recreation ground’s pavilion at 7pm.
Some of the 40 handbags are second hand and others are unwanted gifts.
All the money raised will go to help pay for the maintenance of the recreation ground.
Debbie Short, who is helping co-ordinate the evening, said: “It should be a really sociable event.
“Visitors can bring along something to eat and a chair or rug to sit on.
“I’m sure that we’ll have a lot of fun.”
Two months ago the group held a charity car wash which raised £500.
A wacky races day is planned for August 31 to raise more money for the rec.
