Pupils from All Cannings School have turned loans of £10 into more than £500 through their entrepreneurial skills.
The 19 youngsters, aged ten to 11, were told to come up with an idea and draw a business plan by headteacher Richard Borman and parent teacher chairman Emma Cann.
Either individually or in small groups, they were loaned £10 and told to turn it into a profit.
From the initial outlay of £90 they raised a further £548 by selling ice creams, car washing, competitions and designing and making products.
Charlotte Pender, 11, made over £80 as an individual, designing and making cushions and jewellery.
She said: “People said they really liked what I had made.”
The school will use the money to buy general equipment and sweatshirts for sporting events.
Headteacher Richard Borman said: “The skills of planning and budgeting they have used will help them later in life.”
