Four former pupils from Dauntsey’s School in West Lavington will be eating up the miles in a charity cycle ride from John O’Groats to Land’s End.
The teenagers, who have completed their A-levels, are raising money for the Teenage Cancer Trust UK.
One of those taking part is Archie Campbell, of Woodborough. He said: “We have chosen this charity as we are all fit and healthy 18 year olds and cannot imagine the pain and horror that cancer at such a young age would bring.
“This charity aims to make life for children and young adults with cancer more bearable.”
Archie and his friend James Duckworth, from West Tytherley, near Salisbury, are acting as back up and video camera crew to cyclists Ewan Duffin, of Melksham, and Nick Hargreaves, of Winchester.
The trip begins on Wednesday and the boys aim to complete it by August 7.
They have already raised more than £1,000 but would like to achieve £1,500. To make a donation go to http://www.TwoBoysTwoBikes.tk
