The Owl pub in Little Cheverell has organised a mini music festival and barbecue to raise money for the Gazette’s Help for Heroes appeal.
This is the pub’s second gig in the garden event and will feature five acts.
It takes place on Saturday August 7 at 4pm and will feature Lotte Mullan, a London based singer songwriter, who performed at The Owl in May.
Her first single, Can’t find the words, is released in September.
She will be supported by Robert Bowden, an up-and- coming singer songwriter from Hilperton, along with a young band called The Score and accomplished local acts, The Rivermen and Nikki and Griff, both well known on the West Country gig circuit.
Entry is free but there will be a Help for Heroes collection and some of the charity’s merchandise will be on sale.
