What a surprise, the council has found that the majority of people support its own views about fortnightly rubbish collections. Yet when you read the article fully, it seems people are in support of recycling more and better ways to recycle rather than actually supporting fortnightly collections.
Why doesn’t the council stop wasting money with this consultation exercise and just start the fortnightly collections that the majority of people seem to want.
Or better still, wait and see what the Government has to say on the matter as the Conservatives have pledged to return to weekly collections.
