Mervin Chapman, a loving father, of six, died suddenly in the Packhorse pub, Chippenham, on July 3. Mr Chapman, 67, who had lived for 40 years in London Road, Chippenham, had suffered 11 heart attacks.
He was born in Wilton but grew up in Corsham with his parents and two sisters.
He had four children, Marshal, Michelle, Marcel and Michael from his first marriage and another two daughters Stacy, now 19, and Holly, 17, with his second wife Sheila, whom he married in 1989.
His wife said: “He was the best husband, father and grandfather in the world, we will all miss him terribly.”
His funeral will be held at 1.30pm tomorrow at St Andrew’s Church in the Market Place, Chippenham.
