Fire crews were called to a blaze which broke out in an unoccupied bungalow which is being renovated.
The fire started in the roof and then spread to the ground floor of the building in Milton’s Way, Wootton Bassett.
No-one was hurt in the fire which is thought to have started accidentally.
Crews from Westlea, Swindon and Wootton Bassett were called to the blaze at around 11.25pm on Saturday.
Crews used two hose reel jets and two main jets to extinguish the fire, and an aerial appliance was used to spray the flames from above.
A control unit from Devizes was also called.
