A hoard of weapons was seized by police in Chippenham when they carried out five simultaneous drugs raids yesterday.
Officers confiscated ten different knives and swords and a bow with 15 arrows from an address in Kington Langley, as well as a set of nunchucks from a house in Wood Lane.
The homes were raided as part of Chippenham Police’s Operation Empennage, which has targeted London and Bristol drug dealers who are moving in on the town.
Acting inspector Mark Gale said: “The operation has been very successful and we have removed drugs and weapons from the streets.”
