Photographers in Wiltshire have the chance to see their work published in a new competition being organised by the Gazette & Herald and its sister newspapers across the county in association with Visit Wiltshire.
There is also a superb Nikon Coolpix P100 camera to be won and three great runners-up prizes.
Entry is open to all residents in the region and all ages. To have a chance of winning all you have to do is follow some simple steps.
Take up to five colour photographs related to any aspect of tourism in Wiltshire.
Download an entry form from visitwiltshire.co.uk Send the entries, together with the completed form to glawrence@newswilts.co.uk As well as major attractions such as Stonehenge, Avebury or Lacock entrants can submit photographs of countryside, monuments, events, gardens or anything they feel sums up a journey across the county.
All entries will be considered for publication in our newspaper titles and promotional material produced by Visit Wiltshire.
The winner of the first prize will receive a Nikon Coolpix P100 with 26x zoom, 2Gb memory card and carry case, worth more than £340.
Three runners-up will each receive a copy of Dorling Kindersley’s How to Photograph Absolutely Everything – Successful Pictures from your Digital Camera.
Rules: Only colour photographs will be considered.
To be eligible for entry to the competition, all photographs must be accompanied by a completed and signed application form from visitwiltshire.co.uk Each photograph must be accompanied by details of where and when it was taken. Photographs will be eligible for consideration as long as they are taken within the boundaries of the geographical county of Wiltshire, including Swindon.
The subject matter of the photographs may relate to any aspect of tourism within Wiltshire.
Entry to the competition is restricted to a maximum of five photographs per person.
All entries must be previously unpublished.
Entries must be submitted as jpeg file attachments by email to glawrence@newswilts.co.uk. Minimum 200dpi at A4 size, or at least 1mb in size. Maximum 5mb per image and per email.
Entries must be received by Tuesday August 31, 2010.
Winning entries will be notified no later than September 30, 2010.
Newsquest and VisitWiltshire reserve the right to publish all entries.
