Schools around Devizes got together for a game of dodgeball to raise money for charity.

As part of National School Sport week, Devizes School teamed up with the British Heart Foundation to raise money for the charity.

A dodgeball day was arranged, using equipment from the British Heart Foundation. So far £285 has been raised but more is still being counted.

In total 75 pupils took part, 30 from Devizes School, which is a specialist sports college, 20 from Rowdeford School and 25 from Lavington School.

Other activities that took place during the week were interclass sports competitions, stalls and sports leaders helping at other schools.

Lavington School also held a whole school World Cup event where every tutor group and department competed against each other using a range of skills such as team work and completing quizzes.
