I would like to thank the Gazette & Herald for promoting Dr David Barnardo’s visit to Calne Sure Start Children’s Centre (July 1).
We hope the report will encourage even more families with under-fives to approach us for free support.
So far we have registered more than 1,200 parents and children but we know there are many more who could benefit.
We provide a range of activities, including stay and play sessions, parenting workshops, antenatal classes, family learning, baby massage, baby signing, childminder surgeries, cookery groups and trips to local attractions.
Katie Sims, Barnardo’s team leader, Calne Sure Start Children’s Centre.
