Children at Southbroom Infants School learned that being in the circus involves a lot of hard work as well as fun.
The Devizes school last week hosted the Salisbury-based Table Top Circus when Jonathan the Jester and assistant Kevin arrived to teach the young pupils circus skills such as plate spinning, Diablo, balance beams, unicycling, devil sticks and juggling with balls and clubs.
The children practised the skills, interspersed with mini shows from the two professionals, which involved magic tricks and circus tumbling.
