Almost 2,000 CDs of a tribute to the people of Wootton Bassett have been sold.
The song, Forever Young, was recorded at the studios of Pete Lamb in Potterne. Colette Cassin, a jazz and blues singer from Market Lavington, was the vocalist along with the City of Bath Junior Choir.
The song salutes Wootton Bassett for honouring soldiers repatriated through the town. “We are near to ordering our second batch of the CD,” said Mr Lamb.
Stockists include Devizes Books, Market Lavington Post Office, Costcutters and the George and Dragon, both in Potterne, and online at Amazon. Money raised goes to Afghan Heroes, set up by mothers of soldiers killed in Afghanistan.
