SHADOW agriculture minister Tim Yeo will be talking to farmers at Chippenham Market tomorrow.
Mr Yeo will arrive at 11.30am for a tour of the livestock market, when he will speak with farmers about the issues affecting their livelihoods.
At 12.30pm he will address an audience at the dairy ring and answer questions.
Wiltshire's National Farmers' Union chairman Peter Gantlett will join Mr Yeo for a working lunch he will visits dairy, pig and poultry farms in the Chippenham area.
"With an election likely next year it is vital for farmers to know where the Conservatives stand on a number of issues affecting us," said Mr Gantlett.
"I am particularly keen to find out what level of backing Mr Yeo's party is prepared to give our British Farming Standard campaign.
"And there are plenty of other issues to raise, especially the way that primary food producers are continuing to get a raw deal because of the way the food supply chain operates in Britain today."
