A YOUNG singing duo will headline a concert in aid of Children in Need at Devizes Town Hall next month.
Victoria Morris and Laura Harris, both 15, and collectively known as Topaz, have been singing together since March.
They have already recorded their first CD, which will on sale at the concert on November 10.
The CD, entitled Lightning Strikes Twice, has been recorded by Phil Dawson of Devizes-based Ginger Music.
Victoria has delighted audiences at the Wharf Theatre with her performances in The Wizard of Oz and The Drunkard, and has a wide repertoire of songs from West End shows, coached by singing teacher Geraldine Aylmer-Kelly.
With Laura, from Malmesbury and a pupil at Rowdeford special school, the duo sing songs by artists such as Patsy Cline, Abba and The Corrs. They have been in great demand, performing on BBC Wiltshire Sound and, most recently, at the Suffolk Arms in Malmesbury in aid of the Meningitis Trust.
Also performing on November 10 are Julie Pinheiro, Gareth Williams and Elvis impersonator Kim Wolleter.
Tickets, at £5 for adults and £3.50 for children and pensioners, are on sale at Devizes Books.
