VILLAGE organisations in Kennet have been invited to meetings at the Castle Hotel, Devizes next week to find out what visiting arts events are available.
Rural Arts Wiltshire, set up by the county's four district councils, is providing touring professional theatre and other arts activities designed for village venues.
The autumn/winter season is now under way, including the Ophaboom Theatre Company presenting The Hunchback of Notre Dame, Cat Weatherill telling Seductive Stories, and the Edinburgh Puppet Company with their performance of Peter Pan.
The meetings, where some of the participating artists will be performing, take place at the Castle Hotel on October 17 at either noon to 2pm or 7.30pm to 9.30pm.
For more information, contact Kennet District Council's arts development officer, Jo Beal on (01380) 734674.
