POLICE are seeking thieves who stole eight electronic Furby-like toys from under the gaze of security cameras at a Devizes store.
Staff at Woolworth's in The Brittox found that eight Robo Nagi toys, worth a total of £240, had been taken from a shelf in the store between 11.30am and 11.45am on Monday.
PC Mike Owen, who is handling the case, described the toys, which speak and blink when buttons are pressed, as Furbies without the fur.
They were in cylindrical containers about a foot tall and would have needed a large bag to remove them without being seen.
Police are anxious to interview a man and a woman who were seen entering the store with a shopping trolley at about the time of the theft.
They entered and left through the rear entrance, spending only about six minutes in the store.
PC Owen can be contacted at Devizes police station on (01380) 722141.
