The Prospect Hospice has taken delivery of a new van which will help boost returns from its five charity shops.
The Volkswagen has been sold to the charity at a reduced price by Wantage-based Ridgeway Garage, which is also offering free servicing for life, and has met the cost of fitting out the van and sign painting.
The van also contained sacks filled with clothes and bric-a-brac donated by garage staff.
Prospect Hospice retail development manager Tracey Avery said: "The new van will enable us to source the amount of stock needed to maintain and increase the shop's income.
"This is important to us because all the profits go towards helping us care for our patients."
Prospect Hospice in Wroughton helps care for terminally ill patients.
Most of the funding comes from its five charity shops based at Havelock Street, Old Town, Gorse Hill, Pewsey and Marlborough.
