A CANCER forum is being launched in Marlborough to help sufferers, those who care for them, or people who just want to know more about the disease.
The inaugural meeting will be held next Thursday at 7pm at the Marlborough Natural Health Centre in Kingsbury Street.
One of its founders is Enid Anderson, of Woodborough, an adult education organiser in Marlborough for Swindon College.
She was diagnosed with acute myloid leukaemia ten years ago but is now in remission. She said: "Marlborough has not had a centre where cancer sufferers, their families or carers can go for support. "
Information about the cancer forum can be obtained from the Natural Health Centre at the foot of Kingsbury Street by St Mary's Church (01672 515151) or from Caroline Jackson (01672 515700).
