Young Christians took part in a day of work and worship at the third Swindolympic Challenge.
The sports event brought together 90 teenagers from all over the Bristol Diocese, to compete with each other in a variety of sports at the Dorcan Leisure Centre.
The event has been held annually for the last three years and although numbers were down this year, organisers said the day was a great success.
For the third year running, organisers chose to stage the event at Dorcan, praising the excellent facilities there are in Swindon.
Dorcan churchwarden Nigel Sharp said the day was a success.
"It was absolutely brilliant. All the kids and everyone involved thoroughly enjoyed themselves," he said.
"We come to Swindon each year because there are exceptional facilities at Dorcan.
"The purpose of the day is to show young teenagers that they are an important part of today's' church and it helps to reinforce the message that Christianity can be fun."
The day featured sporting events as varied from football to a race between children balancing a bucket of water on their head.
At the end of the day, following a service with the Venerable Alan Hawker, the archdeacon of Malmesbury, in true olympic style medals were handed out to the children who won their events and a certificate was given to each of the youngsters who had took part in the day.
