MARK Robertson fired his first goal for Town yesterday (Wednesday, October 11) to earn the reserves a 1-1 draw at Colchester.
The Australian was deployed in a forward role for the match and did not disappoint watching manager Colin Todd.
It was also a chance for the likes of Juan Cobian, Marko Tuomela, Kim Heiselberg and Antoine van der Linden to shine.
Unfortunately, it was a mistake by Tuomela which gave Colchester a point as he missed a crucial defensive header.
But Todd was pleased with a number of other performances.
"When I signed Mark Robertson, I knew he could play up front and I was pleased with what I saw at Colchester," he said. "It is certainly another option for us. He has pace and can certainly finish.
"I was also delighted with the performance of Andy Williams. He followed up from his display against Oxford with a decent show. He has got pace and is finally starting to show me what he can do."
TOWN: Mildenhall, Cobian, Tuomela, Smith, van der Linden, Heiselberg, Howe, A. Williams, Cowe, Robertson.
