THE Ivy Inn held its annual harvest festival on Sunday October 1 at 7.30pm.
A packed pub had a service conducted by Rev Peter Gaunt, followed by an auction of harvest produce and an auction of promises.
The auction was done by Pat Murphy of Dreweatt and Neate, who has been doing it for the last 25 years.
A staggering £2,601.03 was collected in two and a half hours. This money will be divided between the village school, RSPCA, The Jonah Wright Appeal and The Lydia Oasis of Hope Appeal
