AM I the only one to be disturbed by your weekly pillorying of a local tradesman because he cashed in on a trading opportunity during the petrol crisis?

I, too, think his actions were unworthy and made up my own mind whether or not I would deal with his garage in future. However, to carry on this vicious and mean-minded feature, complete with photograph is beyond the pale.

He has not, as far as I am aware, broken the law and the prices currently shown are about the average for most garages in the country.

I don't know Mr Dean and have no wish to. If I wrote to your paper naming the local tradesmen I find fault with I would receive short shrift and rightly so. Please put an end to this witch-hunt.
