A MEDIA frenzy has been greeting the return of Olympic athletes from the University of Bath since their arrival back in the UK.
Team Bath welcomed back its Olympic gold and silver winning heroines, Stephanie Cook and Kate Howey centre, at a civic reception on Wednesda with university vice chancellor David Vandeline, Don Foster MP, Mayor Angela Godfrey and Team Bath director of sport Ged Roddy
The University of Bath's Sports Training Village hosted the special ocasion after the squad's success at the Sydney event.
Stephanie achieved gold in the modern pentathlon and Kate secured silver in the judo. Fellow athlete Kate Allenby achieved bronze in the modern pentathlon.
Stephanie and Kate were welcomed by the Mayor of Bath, Cllr Angela Godfrey, and the university vice chancellor, David Vandeline.
They were joined by Stephanie and Kate's fellow athletes and coaches from the Team Bath elite sports programme.
