EVER wondered what happened to Australian golden boy Jason Donovan?
Go to see Sorted (18) and you'll spot him in a memorable supporting role playing a transvestite disc jockey.
This is just one of many visual treats in this stylishly made but rather familiar British thriller.
Matthew Rhys is the naive young man who travels from Scunthorpe to London to find out what caused the death of his brother.
He meets his brother's girlfriend Sunny (Sienna Guillory) and gets caught up in the capital's hectic club scene, with its dazzling array of characters Donovan among them, as well as Tim Curry's nasty club owner-cum-drugs baron.
While Sorted seems to fade with a whimper rather than a promised bang, there is enough panache and impressive camera trickery to raise it above the average TV thriller.
Rhys also catches the eye in a demanding central role.
