THERE are more misses than hits in martial arts action film Romeo Must Die (15), which stars Jet Li, who plays a former Hong Kong police officer who travels to California to confront the gang responsible for the death of his brother.
The action, with some spectacular fight scenes, is fast and furious, but too much so, with little time given to develop the characters in a way that the audience would care for them or even have much chance to consider them.
