ONE of last year's star turns at the Wiltshire Music Centre, jazz pianist Fred Hersch, returns to the Bradford on Avon venue as part of the 4 in Perspective tour.
He is joined by three equally gifted performers, horn player Kenny Wheeler, singer Norma Winstone and percussionist Paul Clavis.
Hersch is one of the jazz world's finest composer/pianists. In his 20-year career, he has played with some legendary names, including Stan Getz, Art Farmer and Gary Burton, and has released 16 albums as a solo artist or bandleader.
Kenny Wheeler, trumpet and flugelhorn, is a composer as well as a performer. Paul Clarvis has been hailed as a gifted drummer and percussionist, while Jazz Journal International described Norma Winstone's voice as "one of the glories of contemporary jazz".
Outstanding individually, unmissable together, 4 in Perspective represent the very best in contemporary jazz eclectic, creative and inspiring.
The concert, on Saturday, October 14, begins at 8pm, with tickets priced at £10. Box office (01225) 860110.
