Under 14s Red Division
A GOOD team performance saw Shaw and Whitley earn their first three points of the season at home to Warminster Highbury.
The first half saw Shaw forward Luke Simpson go off injured and while down to 10 men, they took the lead through Gary Higdon. Shaw turned possession into goals in the second half, with four more for Higdon and one for Jason Lock to seal the victory at 6-0.
Pewsey Vale earned their first points at home to Frome Collegians in an end-to-end game. They made more of their opportunities in the first half, going in 3-1 up.
Frome got their game together in the second half, scoring three more, but Pewsey proved too strong and with four more goals finished 7-4 victors.
Trowbridge Town Youth made it three wins out of three following their home game against Melksham Park. Trowbridge were 2-0 up at the break making it 3-0 early in the second half. After this it was one-way traffic, leaving the final score at 8-1 to Trowbridge. Gary Birchall (2), Michael Butlin, Chris Gittings (3) and Steve Morris (2) scored for Trowbridge.
Stuart Atkins (2), Simon Murray (2) and Danny Short scored for Amesbury Juniors in their 5-0 away win against Chippenham Town Youth. The win moves Amesbury up to second in the table.
Under 15s Blue Division
A THRILLING game between two well-matched sides was played out between FC Chippenham and visitors Warminster Dynamos.
Chippenham took the lead within three minutes but Dynamos were soon level. Chippenham regained the lead but were 3-2 down by half-time. The second half continued in the same vein, with Chippenham regaining the lead twice in the second half.
Chippenham thought they had the game all sewn up at 5-4 but in the final moments, Dynamos came back one more time and finished the game level at 5-5. Chippenham's goals came from Simon Dance an own goal and a hat-trick for Jamie Mullins.
Croft Juniors were 1-0 up at the break with a header from Eddie Jose in their home game against South Newton and Wishford.
Croft continued on top throughout the second half, with two more goals from Stanley and Harris. South Newton gave the division leaders a good game with special praise for some superb keeping from the Shaw goalkeeper.
Corsham Boys gained their first win of the season, running out 4-1 victors away to Lavington Boys, with Miles Hickton scoring for Lavington.
Fellow title contenders Robins FC and Bath Arsenal faced each other this week but the game failed to produce a winner, with the final score at 2-2.
Under 15s Red Division
TROWBRIDGE FC took a 1-0 lead into the second half through Shaun Flexon, but home side Pewsey were back level shortly after the break.
Pewsey held on until the last 10 minutes when Trowbridge broke down the Pewsey defence, taking the lead again through Flexon, followed by two more, both from Paulo Rossi, to finish 4-1 winners.
The spectators were gripped by a 10-goal thriller between home side Broughton Gifford and Warminster Highbury. Highbury had the edge in the first half and were first off the mark, going on to lead 3-2 at the break. but Broughton had the upper hand in the second half and won that 3-2, leaving the final score at 5-5. P Scolland (2), M Pearce (2) and Sam Johnson scored for Broughton, with T Randell (2), M Gray (2) and O Francis replying for Highbury.
Shaw and Whitley ran out 2-0 victors against Amesbury Juniors. The two sides will meet again this time at Amesbury in the preliminary round of the League Cup.
Under 17s Blue Division
DEVIZES opened the scoring early in the first half through Marcus Wallen in their home game against Bath City.
After some good work down the right wing by Ben Bridewell, Andy Oram was there to tap the ball into the net making it 2-0.
Bath always looked dangerous and pulled one back just before the break. Devizes made it 3-1 with a goal by Justin Lisle, but Bath never gave up, pulling one more back through James Billings. Devizes held out until the final whistle winning 3-2.
Under 17s Red Division
MARLBOROUGH moved up to first position following their 10-2 away win against Bradford Youth.
Dean Price and Matthew Skinner scored for Bradford.
Calne Town celebrated their second win of the season at home to Shaw and Whitley. Chris Needham replying for Shaw.
Lavington Boys ran out 4-0 winners against home side Corsham Boys.
