WITH over 3,000 households in Bradford on Avon, it is nigh on impossible to agree with the town council that 228 of the questionnaires returned in favour of the proposed town bridge show a majority of the townspeople in favour of this project. What arrogance! They admit that only 300 questionnaires were returned. Did they get 3,000 delivered?
I know that many people did not get the questionnaire at all.
Any proposed footbridge to the new Kingston Mill development should be part of the development costs for that site, not another drain on the taxpayers who have had to put up with these fancy ideas for the past 10 years.
