I WOULD like to say a very big thank you, to an often maligned institution; namely the National Health Service.
My wife, Trish, died recently aged 61 after a five year battle against ovarian cancer. During those years I had nothing but praise and admiration for the treatment she received, both from the staff at RUH Bath, and latterly the doctors and nurses at Westbury.
I know she too appreciated the attention and time she received. She was a very brave lady. I would also like to express my thanks to all her friends for their support and their generosity with donations for Cancer Research.
CF COOPER,
The Tynings,
Westbury.
