AVON Rubber has been hit by yet another jobs blow just months after workers including top boss John Baumber were axed.
This time, 50 staff from Trowbridge and Melksham have been told they are surplus to requirements.
All companies have to go through periods of change in order to survive but in the past year the Avon has gone through more than most, and not surprisingly employees do not like it.
They may have a brand new state-of-the-art factory at Semington but many would prefer to go back to the old building and old ways.
