The last Swindon mayor of the 20th century and the first of this one have received a pictorial diary of their year in office.
Brian Ford and Joy Brunt came to the Evening Advertiser office to receive photo albums from editor Simon O'Neill and managing director Mark Suddaby.
Each album contained every picture taken by the newspaper's photographers while Coun Ford and Mrs Brunt were in office.
Coun Ford, mayor between 1998 and 1999, said: "It brought back pleasant memories of the year. My favourite is the one of my family because my uncle has since passed away and it is a nice reminder of him."
Mrs Brunt, mayor between 1999 and 2000 and now retired from local politics, said: "The album is lovely. One of my favourites is of me in the parlour with the mace because normally we are not allowed to touch it."
