The Wyvern Theatre is playing host to a talk by Peter Southern, the head teacher of Christ's Hospital in Sussex.

The aim of the visit is to introduce parents in the town to the educational charity and private school. It is the fourth roadshow in a series of visits to towns throughout the country.

Christ's Hospital, in Horesham, West Sussex was founded in 1552 and provides free or subsidised boarding to 800 boys and girls aged 11-18 for parents who have financial or family need.

The £8 million invested by the school each year comes from endowments made by benefactors over the centuries.

Mr Southern will be at the Wyvern Theatre on October 21 from 11am to 3pm.
