THOSE with musical talent are being offered the chance to entertain while raising funds for charity.
The Stroke Association is organising a sponsored Musicathon at the Brunel Shopping Centre on Saturday, November 25.
Lisa Boyce, Wiltshire fundraiser for the Stroke Association, said: "There is still time for musicians to sign up, individually or in groups. We hope to fill the whole day with music from 10am until 6pm.
"Nearly everyone knows somebody affected by a stroke a close friend, relative, or work colleague. This event will benefit stroke patients in the Swindon area who depend on our Dysphasia support service," she said.
The Dysphasia support service helps stroke victims with speech and language problems.
Those wishing to perform will be asked to seek sponsorship from family, friends and colleagues.
There will be a thank you T-shirt for anyone under 18 raising more than £30. However, those over 18 will have to raise £50 to get a T-shirt.
Further information can be obtained from Lisa Boyce on 0117 9531200.
