Southampton 2, Swindon Town Ladies 6: Two goals in the opening three minutes set the tone for this South West Combination League game.
The Town went ahead when Katy Lemon knocked the ball beyond the diving keeper.
In their first attack Southampton drew level through Clare Butler.
In the 22nd minute the Town regained the lead when Tracy Peacock wriggled her way through to shoot low into the corner of the net.
The Town got a third in the 35th minute through Georgia Alcock.
The Town started the second half strongly. Substitute Lucy Bailey came on and within five minutes had the ball in the net after running through the Southampton defence.
Southampton pulled a goal back in the 78th minute through Joanne Angel.
In the 80th minute the Town were awarded a penalty when Lucy Bailey was fouled in the area but home keeper Lynn Fallin dived to her right to keep out Kim Reeves kick.
Four minutes from time the Town got a sixth through Lucy Bailey after good work by Tracy Peacock.

The Town Reserves sailed through to the second round of the Southern Region League Cup when they travelled to Thame United and won by 8-0. Town scorers were: Pam Ashman (4), Michelle Rich, Hayley Sprules, Sandy Dillon and an own goal.
