THE St John Ambulance has opened its new training centre in Swindon.
The centre, which will be used to run first aid training courses for businesses during the day and as a training centre for volunteers in the evenings, was officially opened by the Lord Lieutenant of Wiltshire, Sir Maurice Johnston, on Sunday.
The former GWR railway building in Rodbourne Road has been transformed into the new centre thanks to the support of companies in Swindon and the work of fundraisers.
