THIS year's Olympic Games have seemed more colourful than ever before thanks to a Bath Star competition.
The newspaper teamed up with Chantry TV, of Trowbridge, to give away a portable television Chantry TV's assistant manager Nigel Burton hands over the television prize to Gerald Hardwell after he won the Star's Olympic competition..
Readers had to answer eight questions, the answers for which could be found in advertisements published on a 'Sydney Olympics' page.
The eventual winner was Gerald Hardwell, of Burleigh Gardens in Bath.
He correctly answered the questions then completed the sentence: 'I would like to win a portable TV because...wherever I am, wherever I may be, I can watch the games on colour TV'.
Mr Hardwell was presented with his portable television by Nigel Burton of Chantry TV.
