SECURING a point was the all-important factor for Town at the Vetch Field last night (Tuesday, October 17).

Captain Mark Robinson admitted it was not a night for entertaining as the visitors sought desperately to make up for Saturday's disappointment at Oldham.

Robinson said: "It probably wasn't a great game to watch but after getting beaten on Saturday it was important we got something out of the game.

"If we had got a point at Oldham then tonight's result would have looked really decent.

"But we've got to start somewhere and with two home games coming up it's a good opportunity for us to climb the table."

Robinson felt the game degenerated into a stalemate.

"We were very pleased with the way we played in the first half but in the second half we just cancelled each other out," he said.

"It was a horrible night. It was windy, raining and the ball was bouncing about all over the place.

"But once again our fans have turned out and we're glad we've managed to get a half-decent result for them."

Giuliano Grazioli said: "I've been here a few times with Peterborough and they always make it difficult for you.

"We can't really moan with a point. Neither side really threatened although our performance was probably better than it was on Saturday."

Bart Griemink was delighted to keep a clean sheet.

He said: "It was a horrible night so I'm happy to come away with a 0-0 draw. It gives us something to build on."
