A LARGE amount of cold water had entered Wick Water and this showed in the poor weights in the veteran's match.
Mick Robins changed to the feeder in the last hour and took 11-0-0 of carp to win ahead of Dereck Hillier 8-12-0 and Graham Rose was third with 6-7-0.
In the second round of the Upper Thames Angling Times Winter League at Radcot and Clanfield, Devizes, Talisman team member Danny Bohane took the top individual honours on the day with a bag of chub for 26-4-8.
With the river up in levels and well coloured Danny caught six chub using the dink method from downstream of Radcot in almost a carbon copy of round one where he came third individual.
