Swindon Town Under-17s picked up where the seniors left off and beat derby rivals Oxford United 2-1 on their own patch. Two goals from Chris Hughes helped Phil Cannon's boys to a morale-boosting win to follow the Under-19's first win of the season the week before. Alan Young bagged a brace, while Adam Collier and Paul Anderson hit one apiece as Cirencester Under-19s were overwhelmed 4-0.
