Kosovars involved in a Boxing Day clash with youths in Swindon were today awaiting a court verdict on charges against them.
Swindon Magistrates Court has seen CCTV footage of punches being exchanged and belts being used as weapons.
Five Kosovars, who all claim they were defending themselves against an attack, are accused of public order offences.
The accused are: Arben Burgaj, 25, of Leyton, London; Artur Morina, 22, of Acton, London; Enver Cokaj, 37, of County Road, Swindon; Kujtim Uruci, 28, of Manchester Road, Swindon, and Besnik Burgaj 30, of Clifton Street, Swindon.
They deny all charges.
At the close of evidence yesterday, magistrates' chairwoman Patricia Da Silva adjourned the case until this afternoon.
She said: "Because this has been a long and complicated case, and we feel we have to review all the matters, all the statements and all the videos, sometimes several times over, we feel in the interests of justice we will not be able to bring in a result this afternoon, nor indeed tomorrow morning."
Swindon men Craig Finlayson, 25, of Meadowcroft, and Shannon Platt, 19 of Penhill, have both pleaded guilty to committing a public order offence.
Finlayson has also admitted causing criminal damage.
The offences are alleged to have taken place in the town centre at about 8pm on Boxing Day. The police were called in after a disturbance was reported, and later detained a group of Kosovan men in an alleyway of Graham Street, near Manchester Road.
The magistrates heard that all five of the accused denied any wrongdoing, insisting they were merely defending themselves.
Earlier in the hearing, Westlea-based PC Andrew Taylor viewed the CCTV footage.
He said he had had past dealings with some of the Swindon men during his three years with the Wiltshire Constabulary football intelligence unit.
