WITH reference to the proposals for the future services at Savernake Hospital readers may be interested to know that the Short History of Savernake Hospital which I wrote in 1966 to mark the hospital's centenary has been reprinted and copies can be obtained from me (£1 a copy).
Proceeds will go to the League of Friends as with the original publication.
Speaking of the Future of Savernake Hospital in 1966, I wrote: "What is urgently need is a plan to make more use of the small hospital by greater co-ordination of the district hospital and the local hospital"
The latest proposals for Savernake and the new District General Hospital seem to fulfil this aim and are worthy of support.
