The Little Vampire (U) has no real shocks and only a little blood. This is a children's movie, starring Jonathan Lipnicki as a young American living in Scotland who tries to help a family of vampires become human.
This is cheerful, harmless stuff, although youngsters might like a bit more bite to their fright.
And while a strong supporting cast, which includes Richard E Grant and Jim Carter, has fun, Lipnicki's cute blonde kid with a lisp becomes annoying.
